Joseph had dreams and visions that led to a great future, with direct impacts on all the house of his father Jacob and the nation of Israel (Gen. 37.5). But instead of saving himself, he put Joseph to tell the dreams to his brethren mourn. In the first dream Joseph found himself with all his brothers in the field, binding sheaves, when the sheaves of his brothers around him and bow before your sauce.
Had cherished the dream, the brothers would not have even bothered. We believe, however, have the dream report contributed to the plan of God in the life of Joseph
The second dream, broader than the first, give us a vision of compliance in relation to the entire nation of Israel. Now is the sun, moon and eleven stars bow to Joseph Jacob himself rebuked the child. "What is this dream that you dream? Perhaps I will come and your mother and your brothers bow to thee to the earth? His brothers envied him, his father, however, observed the heart. "Jacob thought impossible to fulfill that dream of the young Joseph
I once read in a wall the following words: "You can not erase a dream." It was just graffiti, but I never forgot that statement. Add, however, that the only dreams that never fade, are those given by God and that he personally undertook to meet them in due time.
It was the Spirit of God that made Jacob think about the dreams of his obedient son and take to heart all the words of Joseph, meanwhile, grew jealous of the brothers. They were the dreams that bothered Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, and the other brothers. Who does not dream of God's blessings, has no reason to bother anyone. See what the apostles, especially Peter and John, only experienced persecution when used by God, commanded the healing of the lame in the Beautiful Gate. When they started to bother, it's time to put them in prison. Joseph's dream was a dream of leadership. Were not products of "feeling full", but a prophetic vision from the Lord Jehovah. May the Holy Spirit that we all have dreams that seek the glory of Jesus, to edify the church and the bride's preparation for the rapture. The dream of Joseph was in accordance with the instruction Mosaic: "The Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail ..." (Deuteronomy 28:13).
We need to dream, to have desires, hopes food. The man who does not dream, lost the meaning of life. While we live, it is interesting that we can dream and yearn for the glory of the kingdom of God on earth and an unspeakable joy in the heavenly mansions.
However, even with the considerations in favor of Joseph, we learn that there is good trumpet our dreams. Joseph, perhaps by being in adolescence, immaturity showed precipitation and to report those dreams to his brothers. God's purpose in revealing the dreams Joseph was preparing him for his prickly future, not for that reason he was exalted above his brethren.
His father Jacob, a man of frequent visions of God in your life, "kept this thing in his heart" (Gen. 37.11), but the brothers could not stand to hear that placed Joseph in a dream position.
Let us learn some lessons from this for us. We should be cautious and keep secrets about some dreams we have, for compliance may be even further and, being only in our hearts, did not raise other provocations. That is our dream of exclusive knowledge of God!
